The Mission
When winter hits Southeast Missouri, the Warming Center is the difference between survival and danger for our unhoused neighbors. We are partnering with them this season to ensure they have the support needed to keep their doors open.
Why We Serve
We believe every person is an image-bearer of God. Providing warmth and safety is a tangible way to honor the inherent dignity of every life, regardless of circumstance. By volunteering, you aren't just filling a shift; you are offering a safe harbor.
What to Expect
La Croix has committed to providing volunteers the weeks of Jan 11-17 and Feb 22-28. However, you are invited to volunteer any time you are available. Volunteer opportunities include signing up to provide and serve a meal (breakfast or dinner), to serve on one of the nighttime shifts, or part of the cleaning/morning check-out crew.
